Injured fast bowler Ishant Sharma has been virtually ruled out of the second One-Day International against England [Images] in Indore on Monday, while a final call on whether Yuvraj Singh [Images] can play will be taken before the match.

"Ishant is virtually out of the match as if he doesn't play here it would give him between 5-7 days to recover [from his ankle sprain]," India captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni [Images] said on Sunday.

Ishant had also missed the opening one-dayer after failing to recover from his ankle injury.

About the chances of Yuvraj, who had demolished the England attack with a blazing unbeaten knock of 138 braving a bad back in the first ODI at Rajkot on Friday, Dhoni said his condition had improved a lot.

"There's considerable improvement in Yuvraj's condition. But we will take a final call on him before the match," he said.
