Nitish Kumar quitsRailway Minister Nitish Kumar today resigned from the Union Cabinet owning moral responsibility for yesterday's train accident in West Bengal. He said in Patna today that he had sent his resignation letter to Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee. Kumar said he would meet Vajpayee in New Delhi later in the day. Kumar said the accident ''was supposedly caused by human failure and he had to take moral responsibility for such a situation''. Kumar said one sleeper coach caught fire following the head on collision, which spread very fast. He said most of the injured were out of danger. UNI
