Rajakumar's fans threaten to boycott Tamil movies

Sadananda R in Chamarajanagar

The Dr Rajakumar Fans' Association has threatened to boycott screening of Tamil movies in Karnataka.

Tamil film associations had asked their government to stop supplying power to Karnataka if it failed to release Cauvery waters to Tamil Nadu.

"If this is the attitude of Tamil film industry, we will boycott their films in Karnataka," the president of the association, Govindu, said in Mysore.

"We will also not allow them to shoot films in Karnataka," he added.

"We have no grudge against the people of Tamil Nadu. We are facing severe drought in our state. Our reservoirs have no water. As brothers, we have to share the distress," he said.
