Concerned over the emerging Indo-US defence cooperation, Pakistan President Pervez Musharraf on Friday hoped that Washington will not take any decision that will hurt Islamabad's interests.

Replying to questions about the ongoing US-India naval exercises, Musharraf said: "We are sensitive over any country's defence cooperation with India."

Musharraf was interacting with Pakistan-based reporters from Arab countries ahead of his visit to Malaysia to attend the Organisation of Islamic Conference meeting beginning on Saturday.

He said he had raised Pakistan's concerns over emerging Indo-US defence cooperation during his talks with US President George W Bush in New York on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly session in September.

Referring to his proposal of ceasefire along the Line of Control, Musharraf said he expected a 'positive' response to it from India.

"You can't clap with one hand. India has to be positive about this," he said.
