3 held in Mysore for aiding terrorists

The Karnataka police arrested three men on Sunday on the charge of fabricating false records and aiding one of the two Pakistani terrorists nabbed last week in obtaining forged documents.

Sadiq, Gopal and Nanjappa were arrested for helping terrorist Mohammed Ali Hussain get a ration card, birth certificate and domicile certificate and in filing his passport application, Karnataka police chief B S Sial said.

Based on the false certificates, Sadiq got Hussain's passport application form prepared and tried to get him a passport. But the police rejected his application during verification, Sial said.

Hussain and Mohammed Fahad, both suspected members of the Pakistan-based Al Badr terror group, were arrested in Mysore on Friday.
