Leander selected for Rado team

Rado, the leading Swiss watch manufacturer has inducted Davis Cup player and last year's ATP tour finalist Leander Paes into its prestigious Rado player team.

Paes joins Sergei Bruguera, Alex Corretja, Todd Martin, Malivai Washington and Tommy Haas on the Rado player team.

Rado is a partner of the ATP tour -- which organises men's tennis activities worldwide -- and has been the 'official watch of the ATP tour' since 1996. The ATP tour world championships will be played in Hannover, Germany, this year. The present leg of the tour will be played at Madras from April 6 to 12.

"We are very proud of Leander Paes joining the Rado player team," Peter Kaser, vice-president, sales, said. "I am sure he will be a great sporting ambassador not only for Rado wearing as he does a Rado Ceramique, but also for India and the international world of tennis.''
