Campbell to lead ZimbabweAlistair Campbell has been retained captain of the Zimbabwe team for the fortnight-long tour of India. Andrew Flower will be his deputy. Australia, India and Zimbabwe will play a triangular one-day series. Zimbabwe play their first match against Australia on Friday at Ahmedabad. The selectors reposed faith in Campbell who took over from Grant Flower last year. However, Zimbawe suffered huge defeats, in the Tests and one-dayers, against New Zealand and Pakistan. Almost all the players who played in those series will tour India, with fast bowler Mpumelelo Mbangwa being the sole native player in the side. The team includes one of the few Zimbabwean success stories of late, the middle order batsman Murray Goodwin. The team's main strike bowler will be Heath Streak while all-rounder Paul Strang is making his second trip to India. The team: Alistair Campbell (captain), Andrew Flower (vice-captain and wicketkeeper), Gary Brent, Craig Evans, Grant Flower, Murray Goodwin, Adam Huckle, Mpumelelo Mbangwa, Paul Strang, Heath Streak, Dirk Viljoen, Andrew Whittall, Guy Whittall and Craig Wishart. Mohammed Meman, who represented Zimbabwe in the 1992 World Cup, is the manager while David Houghton, who played in three World Cups, is the coach. The team's physio will be Aamato Machikicho. UNI
