Team for Kenya tourney on September 17

The Indian team for the four-nation cricket tournament in Kenya, from September 24 to October 3, will be selected on September 17 in Baroda, executive secretary of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) Sharad Diwadkar announced today.

Apart from India, the other participating teams are South Africa, Zimbabwe and hosts Kenya.

Meanwhile, the likelihood of Sachin Tendulkar playing in the tournament appears remote as he is likely to return from Australia only early next week.

The Indian team which is playing the West Indies in a three-match series in Toronto will return to Delhi on the morning of September 16.
