India 'A' beat Aussies by five wicketsSplendid bowling by Sridaran Sriram and Mohammad Kaif's brave knock on a dicey wicket enabled the India 'A' team beat Australia 'A' by five wickets in the second Moov AXN America Challenge in Los Angeles yesterday. The Australians had won the first match of the five-match series by 77 runs. For the second successive day heavy fog delayed the scheduled 8 am start. Australia 'A' failed to come to terms with a difficult, wet wicket and some intelligent spin bowling by left arm spinner Sriram, who bagged four wickets for 23 runs from six overs, and were dismissed for 129 in 35 overs, in a match reduced to 42 overs per side. India achieved its target with 11.5 overs to spare, thanks to a fighting knock by 19-year-old right hand bat Kaif, who top-scored with 38 runs. The result levelled the series at 1-1, with the remaining matches to be played on Saturday, Sunday and Tuesday.
