Herath cleans up AustraliaSri Lanka's spinners Muttaiah Muralitharan and Rangana Herath took nine wickets to bowl out Australia for 228 in their first innings on the rain-affected third day of the second Test today. Australia, resuming on 188 for five, added just 40 runs for their last five wickets in 51 minutes at the crease today. Captain Steve Waugh struggled to 19 before losing his wicket to Test debutant Herath. Herath took four of the wickets to fall to finish with figures of four for 97. The left-armer was included after taking four for 57 for a Sri Lanka Board XI against Australia earlier this month. Play began at 1630 local time (1030 GMT) due to heavy rain that soaked the outfield. Muralitharan ended with figures of five for 71. Australia's Colin Miller was run-out in the only other wicket to fall today. Sri lanka were 44 for no wicket in their second innings at stumps. Scoreboard
