Zidane voted Euro 2000 bestFrance's Zinedine Zidane was on Thursday officially named best player at Euro 2000 by European football's governing body UEFA in Monaco. Argentina's Fernando Redondo was declared best in Europe for last season while Manchester United's Jaap Stam of Holland was named the best defender.
