Paes-Bhupathi in Atlanta semisThe fourth seed Indian pair of Leander Paes and Mahesh Bhupathi stormed into the semifinals of the Verizon Tennis Challenge being played at Atlanta. The dynamic duo had no problems in getting past Thomas Shimada (Japan) and Eric Taino (USA) 6-2, 6-4 in the quarter -finals on Friday. They face the second seeds Bob Bryan and Mike Bryan of the United States in the semifinals on Saturday. The Americans are the 13th ranked team based on this year's results and will pose good resistance to the Indians, who are 19th in the latest rankings. The Americans have won the Memphis International Series Gold tournament in February and made it into the semis at the Adelaide Open and Scottsdale International Series this year. In the other semifinal, top seeds Rich Leach (USA)/David MacPherson will take on the third seeds South Afrcian pair of Ellis Ferreira and Grant Stafford. All the four seeded teams have reached the semifinals.
