Bhupathi-Lareau in quartersShailesh SoniMahesh Bhupathi and Sebastien Lareau of Canada stormed into the quarter-finals of the $800,000 RCA championships, being played at Indianapolis. The duo, seeded eight in the tournament, defeated James Blake of the United States and Nenad Zimonji of Yugoslavia 6-4, 6-2 in their second round match. Their quarter-finals opponents will be the winners of the match between top seeds Jonas Bjorkman / Todd Woodbridge and the American pair of Kevin Kim / Glenn Weiner. In the first round, Bhupathi and Lareau had defeated the wildcard team of Mardy Fish of the United States and Andrei Pavel of Romania 6-4, 2-6, 6-4. The other seeded teams to reach the quarter-finals are, second seeds Max Mirnyi of Belarus and Sandon Stolle of Australia; third seeds Ellis Ferreira of South Africa and Rick Leach of the United States, and fifth seeds Mark Knowles of The Bahamas and Brian MacPhie of the United States.
