Rohan Bopanna in semisUnseeded Rohan Bopanna continued his dream run, scalping fifth seeded Manoj Mahadevan to romp into the men's singles semi-finals in the senior National grasscourt tennis championships in Calcuatta on Thursday. The Karnataka lad, who stunned second seed Vijay Kannan in the opening round, rode on his powerful serves to put it across his higher ranked Tamil Nadu opponent in straight sets 7-6 (7-4), 7-6 (7-3) after a 92-minute fight at the Calcutta South Club lawns. The 20-year old will now take on third seed Vishal Uppal, who overcame a stiff first set resistance before showing the door to wild carder and local boy Anand Radhakrishnan 7-6 (7-4), 6-2 in another quarter-final.
