Srinath's dream run endsSixth seeded Czech Jaroslav Levinsky scored a hard-fought victory over Pralhad Srinath to put an end to the dream run of the unseeded Indian and move into the final of the ITF Futures tennis tournament in Calcutta on Friday. Fortunes fluctuated right through the semi-final before Levinsky carved out a 4-6, 6-3, 7-6(5) victory after two hours and 22 minutes. In the other singles semi-final, third seed Martin Spotti of Austria had an easy time, prevailing over seventh seed Juraj Hasko of Slovakia 6-2, 6-1 in a little under an hour. The top seed pair of Syed Fazaluddin of India and his Uzbek partner Dmitri Tomashevich demolished the Uzbek duo of Anton Kokurin and Abdul-Hamid Makhkarnov 6-1, 6-4 to storm into the doubles final. In the other doubles semi-final, the Czech pair of Jaroslav Levinsky and Michal Navratil thrashed the Indian duo of Rohan Bopanna and Vijay Kannan 6-2, 6-2 to move into the final.
