Mustafa Ghouse in semis, Kirtane falls BangaloreIndia's Mustafa Ghouse caused a major upset knocking out third seed and title contender from Germany, Lars Uebel, and stormed into the semi-finals of the ITF Satellite Tennis Tournament (Second Leg) here today. National Champion Ghouse dropped a set before sidelining his fancied opponent, the winner in the First Leg at Thiruvananthapuram, 6-3 2-6 6-2 in one hour and 49 minutes. "I was nervous going into the match but started off well. I lost concentration in the second set and lost crucial breaks. But I regained momentum in the third set," Ghouse, who is unseeded, said after the match. But India had a mixed day, as Nitin Kirtane's good run ended at the hands of the fifth seed from Britain, James Auckland. The Briton was in good form on his way to a 7-5 6-2 victory over the unseeded Indian, to move into the last four. Also moving into the semi-final was top seeded Irishman John Doran who was given a scare by sixth seed Anton Kokurin (Uzbek) before prevailing 7-6 (7-3) 3-6 6-1.
