Ferrero continues rise in Entry rankingsJuan Carlos Ferrero continued his rise up the world rankings on Monday, jumping two places to a career-high fourth after reaching the final of the Hamburg Masters Series tournament at the weekend. Albert Portas, the qualifier who upset his fellow Spaniard to win his first title in Hamburg, broke into the top 20 thanks to that victory which moved him up 22 places. Brazil's Gustavo Kuerten held on to the top spot, 385 points ahead of Russian Marat Safin. The Entry System rankings are based on results over a rolling 12-month period and are used to determine seedings for tournaments. Top 20 (previous week's positions in parentheses): 1. (1.)
