Riding on a double hat-trick by Bi Yan and Han Duan, China routed Singapore 15-0, while a hat-trick by Kim Hyang Mi helped Korea outplay Thailand 10-0 in the Asian under-19 women's football championship in, Goa, on Saturday.
Bi Yan scored six goals, while Han Duan scored three, as China, who led 12-0 at the breather, literally toyed with their opponents at the Nehru stadium in Margao. Zhang Ying (2) and Zhong Jinyu, Wang Dandan, Zhang Na and Wu Miaomiao, one each, accounted for the other goals.
In the other match, played at the Tilak maidan, Vasco, Korea's Kim Hyang Mi also scored four goals, which included a hat-trick, in the 42nd, 49th, 54th and 60th minutes. Jong Pok Sim scored three goals, in the 30th, 72nd and 89th minutes, and Jang Chol Ok scored two, in the 22nd and 26th minutes, after Kang Kum Sil opened the scoring in the first minute of the match.
