Chakravarti lone Indian survivor
National champion Rushmi Chakravarti kept Indian hopes alive after beating France's Elodie Lebescond to move into the quarter-finals, while top seed Angelika Bachmann of Germany was ousted by unseed Austrian Sybillie Bammer, in the
US$ 25,000 ITF women's tennis tournament in Delhi on Wednesday.
Rushmi justified her wild card as she got the better of the Frenchwoman 6-3, 3-6, 6-3.

to be one-sided, with the Austrian chalking out a straight-set win. She

eight. She overwhelmed Britain's Camila Kremer 6-2, 6-2.
