Indian hockey captain Dilip Tirkey and forward Gagan Ajit Singh have inked a deal with top Dutch club Klein Zwitzerland and will leave for Holland later this month.
Confirming the signing, president of the club Ties Kruize said he is looking forward to the Indian duo's stint in the professional league, beginning in late September.
"If all the formalities are completed in time, the duo should reach here in two weeks' time," he said from Amsterdam.
The Indian players would return in November before embarking for the second leg of the League in February.
The club is placed fourth in league standings and has offered the Indians a good pay packet.
"Although I cannot reveal what they would be getting, I can say that the money is good and they are happy with what they are getting. We have agreed on it in principle," Kruize, a former captain of the Dutch national side, said.
He also said both Tirkey and Gagan Ajit had forwarded him a 'no objection' letter from the Indian Hockey Federation.
Kruize did not rule out a longer association with the players.
"My club is well-known. We will do our utmost to make them feel comfortable in Holland. They may stay with us for a longer time.
"There is a big Indian community in Holland and the Indian players would be a good draw."
