Shandilya, Sethi in last four

Ashok Shandilya rattled up four century breaks on way to a comprehensive victory over his Railways mate Mohammed Asim in the billiards quarter-finals of the Rs 4,25,000 Shivaji Park Gymkhana All India Open Invitation tournament in Mumbai on Thursday.

The national number five came up with breaks of 129, 183, 109 and 170 to overwhelm Asim 860-599 to enter the last four.

Also through to the semi-finals was former world professional champion Geet Sethi, who drubbed Rupesh Shah 911-492.

Sethi strung together a double century sequence of 256 before compiling another three-figure run.
