India's Alka Tomar scripted history by winning the bronze medal in the women's category at the Senior World Wrestling championships in Guangzhou, China.
Tomar won the medal in the 59kg class bringing laurels for the country after a gap of 39 years.
The competition was held from September 25 to October 1.
