India had a new name added to their list of cue sport champions when Rupesh Shah won the IBSF World Billiards Championship points format (150-up) title in Singapore on Saturday.
The 34-year-old Gujarat cueist beat countryman Ashok Shandilya by six frames to four in the final at the Orchid Country Club.
Shah made it to the final after beating Myanmar's Kyaw OO 5-0 in the semi-finals, while Shandilya accounted for Australia's Matthew Bolton 5-1.
