4th Test, Day 5 at St John's, Antigua

** It has been a remarkable turnaround for the wicket-keepers in this series. After failing with the bat in the first three matches, for the first time in the history of Test cricket spanning 1602 matches and 125 years, both the keepers (Ajay Ratra 115 not out and Ridley Jacobs 118) have scored centuries in the same match.

The nearest this feat came to be achieved was when South African keeper Mark Boucher made 108 after his counterpart England's Alec Stewart was dismissed for 95 at Durban in December 1999.

** This was the 13th occasion when three or more hundreds have been scored in the same innings by the West Indian batsmen. It was the eighth time the West Indians were achieving this feat against India. The last occasion the team from the Caribbean did so against any team was against New Zealand at Wellington in February 1995 during their innings of 660-5 decl.

** Meanwhile it was the 21st occasion India were conceding three or more hundreds in the same innings to their opponents - the maximum any team has done so in Test cricket history.

** Playing in his 25th Test match and 45th innings, Merv Dillon (43) registered his highest score of his career bettering the previous best of 36 he made against South Africa at Cape Town in January 1999.

** For the only third time in Test cricket history all eleven members of a side bowled in the same innings of a match, when India did so in the West Indies innings.

The other two instances came in August 1884 when all eleven England bowlers bowled during Australia's innings of 551 runs at The Oval (England keeper Alfred Lyttelton had figures of 4-19) and in March 1980 by the Australian side against Pakistan (382-2) at Faisalabad (Australian keeper Rod Marsh bowled 10 overs conceding 51 runs)

** The 248 overs delivered by Indian bowlers were the maximum they have bowled in a Test innings after the 271 overs at Colombo (RP) in August 1997, when their opponent Sri Lanka made a world record team score of 952-6.

** West Indies' 629-9d was the highest score made by any team at this ground, bettering the 593-5d by West Indies and the 593 by England in the same match in April 1994.
