Stand-in skipper Rahul Dravid was named the Indian Cricketer of the Year on the basis of a public poll.

The other nominees for the award were skipper Sourav Ganguly, fast bowler Zaheer Khan, opener Virender Sehwag, and young stars Mohammad Kaif and Yuvraj Singh.
