Sri Lanka beat Bangladesh by 10 wickets in the ninth match of the Asia Cup cricket tournament in Colombo on Friday. This was the second 10-wicket win achieved in the Asia Cup and the 24th in the history of one-day internationals. Sri Lanka have now registered four 10-wicket victories. West Indies hold the lion share in the list of 24 instances with six such wins followed by India (5). Sri Lanka are now at level with South Africa with four 10-wicket wins. Australia have twice romped home without losing a wicket, whereas England, Pakistan and New Zealand have registered one win each by 10 wickets. Bangladesh, at the other hand, have now suffered this humiliation four times – most by any team in one-day internationals. India, England, New Zealand and West Indies jointly hold the second place with three 10-wicket defeats. Kenya and Zimbabwe have recorded two defeats each by such a huge margin, while East Africa, Pakistan, South Africa and Sri Lanka have let the opponents win a match by 10-wickets once each. The accompanying table lists all 10-wicket wins in one-day internationals:
