Indian team for Pak series on Sat

The Indian team for the first Test of the forthcoming series against Pakistan will be selected in Mumbai on Saturday, said Board of Control for Cricket in India selection committee chairman Kiran More.

The selection committee will also announce the Board President's XI team that will play Pakistan in a three-day warm-up game in Dharamsala, starting on March 3.

"Indian captain Sourav Ganguly [Images] and coach John Wright [Images] will also be present at the meeting," More added.

All the selectors -- Gopal Sharma (Central Zone), Yashpal Sharma (North Zone), Pranab Roy (East Zone) and V B Chandrashekhar (South Zone) -- will attend the meeting.

Pakistan arrive in India on February 28 for three Tests and six One-Day Iinternationals. The first Test, in Mohali, stars on March 8.
