Venues for SL, Eng Tests on Oct 29

The Tours Programmes and Fixtures Committee of the Board of Control for Cricket in India will meet on October 29 to finalise the dates and venues for the forthcoming six Tests, three each against Sri Lanka [Images] and England [Images] as well as the schedule of the seven one-day internationals against the latter.
The meeting, to be chaired by BCCI vice-president Kamal Morarka, would be held in Delhi, Board's Executive Secretary-in-charge, Ratnakar Shetty, said in Mumbai on Thursday.
The three Tests against Sri Lanka will be played between December 2 and 22.

England will visit India, after the home team's return from the Asia Cup in Pakistan, for a series of three Tests in March 2006 followed by a seven-match ODI rubber in April.The dates of the Test series against Lanka, who are currently playing in the seven-match one-day international series against India, have already been declared as Dec 2-6, 10-14 and 18-22 and only the venues have to be finalsed as per the Board's rotation formula.
Shetty said the Board's secretary S K Nair who is the convener of the TPFC meeting would work out a formula.
