Pakistan won the toss and elected to field in the first one-day international against India in Peshawar on Monday.

Pakistan sprang a surprise by resting fast bowler Shoaib Akhtar [Images] along with Faisal Iqbal [Images], opener Imran Farhat [Images] and all-rounder Yasir Arafat.
Playing his first game in Pakistan since April 2004, pacer Umar Gul replaced Shoaib.
