Dravid completes 9,000 ODI runs

India captain Rahul Dravid [Images] became the fourth Indian and eighth batsman to score over 9,000 runs in one-day internationals on Sunday.
He achieved the feat in the third over of the Indian innings in the fifth and final one-dayer against Pakistan, driving Mohammad Sami [Images] to the cover boundary.
Dravid was eventually out for 50, taking him to 9,048 runs.
Dravid joined compatriots Sachin Tendulkar [Images], who leads the all-time highest aggregate with 14,146 runs at 44.20 from 362 matches, Sourav Ganguly [Images] and Mohammad Azharuddin in achieving the feat.
Pakistan captain Inzamam-ul-Haq [Images] is second in the all-time list with 11,251 runs in 356 one-dayers.
Sri Lanka's [Images] Sanath Jayasuriya [Images] is third with 10,512 runs in 354 matches.
The Bangalore-based Dravid has also scored 8,244 runs at an average of 57.65 in 97 Tests.
