"It's not within my hands, but I'll do my best if I get a chance," he said, adding he wasn't sure if he would get a look in.For the 17-year old from Uttar Pradesh, it will be great learning experience even if he doesn't make it to the playing eleven, as the great Anil Kumble [Images] will be by his side and he could easily learn a trick or two from the veteran leg spinner.
Asked whether he had spoken with Kumble, he replied, "Yesterday. We didn't talk much, but we spoke a little today. I'm going to work on what he said about line and length."
Chawla impressed with his variations in the nets, but also became victim of Virender Sehwag's [Images] huge hitting, when the Delhi opener blasted him for a huge 100-yard six.
Chawla said the Challenger Series was a good experience and he will never forget the wicket of Sachin Tendulkar [Images] that made people sit up and take notice of him.
"It was a great experience, especially getting Sachin [Tendulkar] paaji out. It's a dream for any bowler to get him and it was a great moment.
"I'm not a big turner, and I bowl a few variations," he said. "I started bowling when I was about ten or eleven. I watched a lot of leg-spin on TV -- Shane Warne [Images] and Anil paaji."
Meanwhile, V R V Singh, Punjab pace sensation and supposedly India's fastest bowler, said he will be under no pressure to perform on the big stage if he gets a chance.
"It's difficult to bowl on these wickets, but I'm ready for it. I'm quite positive about my bowling, and am looking forward to it. There is no pressure on me."
