Harmison ruled out of ODIs

England's [Images] injury woes continued in India as fast bowler Steve Harmison was ruled out of the forthcoming one-day international series because of a bone stress injury to his right shin.
Harmison, who missed the third Test because of a sore shin, would be flown home and his place in the ODI squad will be taken by Matthew Hoggard [Images].
"Stephen (Harmison) is still experiencing pain in his right shin and with the Test Series against Sri Lanka [Images] due to start in early May, we have decided that the safest course of action is to rest him from the forthcoming One-Day Series here in India," ECB chief medical officer Peter Gregory said..
"He has been advised to rest the injury pending a further re-assessment in the UK."
England are already missing captain Michael Vaughan [Images], fast bowler Simon Jones and spinner Ashley Giles because of injuries.
Opener Marcus Trescothick [Images] left the tour before the start of the first Test because of personal reasons.
The first one-day international will be played in New Delhi on March 28.
