Science scholarships for women

What: L'Or�al India invites applications for its scholarships for young women in Science. It provides financial assistance to women to pursue scientific education.

These scholarships are an extension of an international partnership between L'Or�al and the United Nations Educational Scientific and Cultural Organisation.

Scholarship details

~ Each scholarship consists of a maximum amount of Rs 200,000.

~ This amount is granted over a period of four years of study in a scientific field in a recognised Indian university.

~ A total of three such scholarships will be granted this year.

Are you eligible?

~ You must have passed your Higher Secondary Certificate examination from Mumbai in the current academic year 2005.

~ You must have scored a minimum of 85 percent in the Physics-Chemistry-Mathematics or Physics-Chemistry-Biology stream.

~ You must be less than 19 years old as on May 31.

Selection method

~ A jury will interview shortlisted candidates.

~ Scholarships will be granted only on securing admission.

~ Please collect the scholarship forms from L'Or�al India Pvt Ltd and submit it along with the following documents.
