What: The United States-India Educational Foundation (USIEF) invites Indian citizens to apply for the 2009 Fulbright-Nehru Environmental Leadership Programme (FNELP) Fellowships.
Who can apply:
FNELP is designed for mid-level Indian environment professionals in the public or private sector.
About FNELP:
The fellowship combines short-term practical training with opportunities for netwroking with American counterpart organisations. FNELP fellows will be placed with US environmental public/private organisations, NGOs, academic institutions or research centres and environment-related government agencies.
It is a non-degree four-month programme.
Important date:
The application deadline is February 15, 2009.

Interested applicants can obtain details including application materials from any USIEF offices and from its Web site http://www.usief.org.in under the 'Fellowships for Indian Nationals' link for 'Researchers' and 'Professionals'.
