ONGC resumes productionThe Oil and Natural Gas Corporation, which shut down its flood-ravaged plant in Hazira, Gujarat, finally resumed production at 1400 hours IST (0830 hours GMT) on Monday after a four-day closure. Tears rolled down the eyes of many of the 740 officers and staff at the ONGC complex in Hazira, when senior officials including Additional Executive Director S Bhalla and group General Manager Prasad broke a coconut to mark another auspicious beginning.
