This year's jury includes four actors, three directors and one writer. Three of the jury members are French; two, American; one, Italian; one, Indian; one, Bosnian and one, Chinese.

Seen here, from left to right, are the jury -- Patrice Chereau (director), Meg Ryan (actress), Jean Rochefort (actor), Karin Viard (actress), Danis Tanovic (director), Jiang Wen (director), Aishwarya Rai (actress), Steven Soderbergh (director) and Erri De Luca (writer) -- who made a collective appearance, much to the delight on the crowds.
