The festival will feature two Oscar-winning films, A Grand Day Out and The Wrong Trousers. It will be the first time that the two films will screen in India.

Organised by the British Council in association with the Federation of Film Societies of India, the festival will come to Mumbai from Kolkata.

Created by Nick Park of Aardman Animation, claymation characters Wallice and Gromit breeze through life on an
impossible mission. In A Grand Day Out, they spend a holiday building a space rocket to collect cheese from the moon; in The Wrong Trousers, the canine hero's new birthday present is used to stage a diamond robbery.

A Christmas Carol is an imaginative adaptation of Charles Dickens with mice who weave in and out of action. Directed by Oscar-nominated Jimmy Murakama, the film has some stunning visuals and music score by leading composers.

When The Whale Came, set during World War 1, revolves around two children who try and convince local people to help them put a whale back into the sea. Thunderpants, An Angel For Masy and There's Only One Jimmy Gribble are among the other films which will screen during the week-long festival.
