BJP denies its leaders met KalyanThe Bharatiya Janata Party on Wednesday claimed that none of its leaders had any meeting with the expelled former Uttar Pradesh chief minister Kalyan Singh. Reacting to reports in this regard, party spokesman M Venkaiah Naidu said no BJP leader will meet Kalyan Singh with a political purpose. There were reports that former Union minister Madan Lal Khurana and former Delhi chief minister Sahib Singh Verma met Singh during his stay in the capital. Naidu lambasted the opposition for raking up time and again the Ayodhya issue to gain political mileage. He warned the Congress and the left parties against creating a rift between the BJP and its allies. He said they should realise that they would never succeed in their designs. He said these parties were trying to foment communal violence in the country as they were very unhappy that there were no riots ever since the BJP-led coalition came to power. |
