Rain in parts of Himachal

Rain or snow is likely at a few places in Himachal Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir, and at isolated places in the hills of west Uttar Pradesh.

Rain or thundershowers are likely at a few places in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim, Haryana and Punjab, and at isolated places in Arunachal Pradesh, Gangetic West Bengal, coastal Orissa, Bihar plateau, the plains of west Uttar Pradesh, north Rajasthan, Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Kerala and Lakshadweep.

Mainly dry weather will prevail over the rest of the country.

Rain or thundershowers occurred at isolated places in interior Karnataka.

Day temperatures were appreciably above normal in Assam, Meghalaya, Manipur, Kashmir, northwest Eajasthan and in parts of central Maharashtra and north interior Karnataka.

They were above normal in parts of east Rajasthan, west Madhya Pradesh, Saurashtra, Andhra Pradesh and Tamil Nadu. They were normal over the rest of the country outside Arunachal Pradesh from where the data were sparse.

Night temperatures were appreciably below normal in southwest Rajasthan, north Konkan, in parts of interior Orissa, west Madhya Pradesh and north central Maharashtra.

They were below normal in parts of Assam, sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim, Bihar plateau, east Uttar Pradesh, west Rajasthan and Gujarat.

They were appreciably above normal in Jammu and Kashmir and in parts of coastal Andhra Pradesh and Telengana, and were above normal in coastal Orissa, northwest Rajasthan, Rayalseema and in parts of Gangetic West Bengal, Tamil Nadu, south interior Karnataka and Kerala.

They were normal over the rest of the country outside Arunachal Pradesh from where the data were sparse.
