Seven Bangalore schoolchildren missing

August 22, 2003 16:36 IST

Seven students -- six girls and one boy -- in the age group of 8-13, have gone missing from Bangalore, a senior police officer said on Friday.

The children -- three of them  sisters aged eight, 11 and 13 -- went missing on Thursday.

While the sisters are students of a corporation school, the remaining four are students of St. Anne's School.

The Bangalore police has constituted a special team to look into the matter.
