Chief Election Commissioner B B Tandon on Thursday said elections would be held as per schedule in West Bengal and there is no question of any delay.

"The election schedule has not yet been finalised but we are taking all measures to make the elections free, fair and peaceful," he said.

Tandon, who was at the National Subhash Chandra Bose international airport enroute to Assam, told reporters after a meeting with the State's Electoral Officer Debashish Sen, that the state's final electoral rolls would be published by February 15.

West Bengal is scheduled to go to Assembly polls with five other states, including Assam.
