Bharatiya Janata Party chief Rajnath Singh will lead a delegation of the BJP and other parties in Goa [Images], which are supporting installation of BJP-led government there, and parade all supporting legislators before President Pratibha Patil [Images].

This will be the first political delegation Pratibha would be receiving after taking over as the head of state from her predecessor A P J Abdul Kalam.

"BJP delegation will be meeting President Pratibha Patil at 1 pm to present their case on Goa," a senior Rashtrapati Bhavan [Images] official confirmed to rediff.com.

BJP had threatened to parade all the MLAs who want Manohar Parrikar [Images] as chief minister of the state in case Governor S C Jamir refuses to invite Parrikar to form government, despite the fact that he has the support of 21 MLAs.

Parrikar had met Jamir on Friday evening and handed him over a letter of support from 21 MLAs and staked claim to form the government.
