Ibrebru earns Salgaocar sixth place

Felix Ibrebru's goals late in the match gave Salgaocar a 2-0 victory over JCT Mills in their concluding match in the National Football League in Margao, Goa [Images], on Wednesday.
Bagan stave off relegation
The Nigerian striker scored in the 78th and 84th minutes to enable the Goa side finish sixth in the league.
Salgaocar finished with 28 points, the same a JCT, but placed a rung above the Phagwara side because of a better goal difference of +2.
The Goa side had 26 goals for and 24 against, while JCT had 19 goals for and against, a zero goal difference.
For his efforts, Ibrebru was adjudged the man of the match.
