Indian ace Leander Paes [Images] and his Czech Republic partner Martin Damm stormed into the final of the men's doubles at the Australian Open on Thursday.
The seventh seeds proved too good for Mariusz Fyrstenberg and Marcin Matkowski of Poland in the semi-finals, winning 6-2, 6-4.
They will take on top seeds Bob and Mike Bryan of the United States, who got the better of fourth seeds Paul Hanley [Images] of Australia and Kevin Ullyett of Zimbabwe 6-3, 6-4 in the other semi-final.
Paes and Damm had upset second seeds Jonas Bjorkman of Sweden and Max Mirnyi in the quarter-finals.
Paes continued his winning run by booking a semi-final berth in the mixed doubles.
He teamed with Nathalie Dechy of France [Images] to trounce Frantisek Cermak of the Czech Republic and Anna Lena Groenefeld of Germany [Images] 6-1, 7-6 (7/4) in a one hour and 17 minutes quarter-final that followed his men's doubles match.
The Indo-French pair will play sixth seeds Daniel Nestor of Canada [Images] and Elena Likhovtseva of Russia [Images] for a place in the final.
Meanwhile, Mahesh Bhupathi [Images] and Martina Hingis [Images] also reached the mixed doubles semi-finals, beating Todd Perry and Rennae Stubbs.
Bhupathi and Hingis won 7-5, 7-6 (7/5) to set up a semi-final meeting with Paul Hanley and Samantha Stosur.
